Christmas 2023 - "The Christmas Show" - December 1st - December 17th Christmas spirit takes center stage as a traveling theatre troupe prepares for the final performance of its annual holiday production: The Christmas Show! It’s the morning of December 24 th , and the Penrose Players are squeezing in a last-minute dress rehearsal to ensure this year’s Christmas Eve show is the best they’ve ever performed. Christmas spirit is a bit thin on the ground, however, as the troupe discovers that, while they’ve been practicing, the forecasted snow flurries have unexpectedly become a “storm of the century”-level blizzard – cancelling the show and trapping the Players in the theater overnight on Christmas Eve! With plenty of warmth, humor, and (of course) music, The Christmas Show proves that sometimes the embrace of the family you choose can be just as warm and loving as that of the one you have.
